The project aims to maximise fresh air circulation and the efficiency of natural daylight. To reduce the adverse effects of sunlight on the classrooms, sun-shading façade materials have been used, with careful attention paid to ensuring that these are made from sustainable building materials. The selected façade materials also highlight the modern and horizontal lines of the design.
On the ground floor, a cafeteria and dining hall are directly connected to the courtyard and outdoor areas, enhancing the indoor–outdoor connection in favourable weather conditions and offering students enjoyable spaces during breaks. Owing to its design characteristics, the building also stands out as a pioneering architectural example in the region.
