Alanguva Architekten – Code of Conduct
Our behaviours, actions, and decisions reflect our overall approach to life. This set of behaviours expresses the kind of life we aspire to build together.
The “Code of Conduct” at Alanguva Architekten serves as a guiding framework in our daily work and decision-making processes. We expect all our team members to act within the framework of ethical principles and to demonstrate a strong commitment to these values.
Working Conditions and Protection of Human Rights
In our operations and throughout our supply chain, we prioritise universal human rights and values in cooperation with all stakeholders. Our aim is to contribute to the development of decent working conditions and to continuously raise awareness on this matter.
We create action plans for ongoing improvement, measure our progress through annual reports, and share these reports with our subsidiaries and stakeholders at the end of each year. If a significant risk or violation regarding universal human rights or working conditions is identified, we take appropriate measures, which may include terminating the contract with the relevant supplier.
Alanguva Architekten represents a thoughtful, responsible, and visionary approach. We believe that every individual has a responsibility towards addressing environmental and climate challenges. We see ourselves as part of a sector that carries significant ecological and social responsibility, and we are committed to minimising our negative impact on the ecosystem.
Our design philosophy is based on the responsible use of natural resources, social sensitivity in planning, and ecological awareness in project implementation. This includes the use of environmentally friendly and, whenever possible, locally sourced materials, the development of resource- and energy-efficient concepts, and the design of flexible, accessible, and high-quality living spaces.
We encourage our colleagues, employers, and suppliers to adopt environmentally sustainable practices and work to create opportunities that support their implementation.
Diversity and Inclusion
For us, diversity and inclusion mean having people with different talents, cultures, backgrounds, genders, and personalities in our team without any discrimination. We view diversity within our design team as a strength that enriches our projects with different perspectives, fuels creativity, and creates an inclusive impact.
In line with our corporate stance:
We do not tolerate discrimination, harassment, or bullying, and we take a clear stand against such behaviour.
We embrace a working environment based on respect, tolerance, and the right to live with dignity.
All team members treat each other with respect, courtesy, and equality.
We are committed to income fairness and the principle of equal pay for equal work.
The same principles apply in recruitment, material/service procurement, and third-party collaborations, where competence, experience, and performance are the primary criteria.
Legal Responsibilities
We closely follow the legal regulations and professional legislation in Germany and base all our services on full compliance with the law.
We aim to strengthen legal awareness through effective communication with our clients, colleagues, and third-party suppliers. For our international contacts, including overseas partners, we provide support and guidance to ensure compliance with German laws and regulations.
Intellectual Property Rights
Every project we create is an original work and protected by law. Protecting our intellectual property rights is a cornerstone of our professional integrity.
We register our architectural works through the relevant professional organisation and secure our other designs through appropriate licensing methods, ensuring they are safeguarded against misuse.
