Shaping the Future Together: About Me and the 2026 ByAK Elections

Architecture only thrives through authentic dialogue. To create spaces that truly integrate into our urban fabric, we must look beyond our own horizons and foster close collaboration across all disciplines. My goal is to actively promote this exchange and significantly simplify the paths for uncomplicated, direct communication. This commitment to using communication as a tool for better planning is what drives me as an architect, because only through genuine synergies and collective thinking can we create living environments that go beyond the purely functional to inspire people and create lasting value.

A Brief Look at My Journey
After gaining valuable experience at a renowned firm in Starnberg, I took the leap into self-employment in September 2025 and founded my own practice. However, my perspective on building was shaped much earlier: before putting down roots in Munich, I had the opportunity to support international projects alongside my partner.

This international perspective taught me to see architecture as a flexible, culturally rooted entity. I learned to constantly rethink my approach in various contexts and to adapt the built environment to the realities of nature and technology, as well as the evolving needs of people. In an era of global climatic and political shifts, it is crucial not just to understand this transformation, but to actively help shape it. This spirit, of being open to the new and thinking both globally and locally, is what I aim to bring to my work and my commitment to the Chamber.

Why the bab?
Because we achieve more together.
The bab (List 10) embodies exactly this openness. Here, architects and civil engineers work together on equal footing, without unnecessary hierarchies, focusing instead on direct cooperation. As a young founder, this is particularly important to me: at the bab, I immediately found professional guidance and valuable support. In a phase where visibility and access to commissions often pose significant hurdles, this exchange provides the necessary stability and backing.

The bab is agile and impactful. We don’t dwell on doubts; we seek solutions. We discuss the current challenges of our industry openly and actively look for ways to overcome them together. For instance, the bab played a key role in launching »Gebäudetyp E«and consistently champions the principle of »bau einfach«.
Our Promise for 2026
The bab views the ByAK (Bavarian Chamber of Architects) as "our Chamber." We are committed to making it future-proof by purposefully expanding service offerings and adapting them to our daily practice. Our promise for the upcoming legislative period is clear: the association will leverage its political and public networks to actively support all those involved in construction, serving as a true pillar of support without the bureaucratic burden.

Your Vote for Our Profession
Whether you cast your vote for me at Position 4 or for my colleagues on List 10, the most important thing is that you make your voice heard. Every vote for the bab is a decision in favor of a modern, innovative, and cooperative Chamber. Click here for more.
